|    Happy Attic Stories - animated advert

This advert was commissioned by the author of ‘Happy Attic Stories’, Trev Burke, to promote his wonderful children's book series, ‘Purple and Reggie’s Super Adventures.’ My goal was to capture the fun, wacky nature of Purple and Reggie’s adventures in a way that
is engaging for kids and amusing for parents.

|    The Illness - animated short film

This is my final year project. It’s an animated short film that aims to acknowledge the heartache of a slow goodbye in a way that is approachable and digestible.
You can see the background work that went into this project on my behind the scenes website:

|    Batman - title sequence

This is a re-imaged title sequence for the 1966, Adam West Batman film. It’s my first attempt at stop motion since I was about ten years old. The whole thing was created with hundreds of chopped up pieces of coloured paper. I tried to incorporate the friendly tone and slapstick humour of the film. It was a lot work but also a lot of fun to put together.

|    The Gift of Grief - teaser

This is the teaser for my first short film “The Gift of Grief.” With this I wanted to capture the essence of the characters and their roles. The different ghost creatures represent different emotions.

Yellow - Happiness

Pink - Love

Blue - Sadness/Grief

|   The Gift of Grief - short film

This is my first full short film. I imagined a world where ghost creatures hold the responsibility of bringing humans their emotions. The story follows the ghost of grief and sadness discovering his role. At first he does not like his job, but he eventually realises that by knowing when someone is sad he can do something about it. The story is about him learning to accept himself and discovering he can be more than what he has been labeled.
